As the new owner of Skewers, Mike Longo takes on this role and the owner with a genuine connection to the restaurant, shaped by many years of returning as both a guest and host during his time in Vietnam.
His decision to step into ownership comes from a desire to preserve what has made Skewers special for over 25 years, its consistency, its warmth, and the sense of familiarity that guests return for time and again.
With a professional background outside of hospitality, Mike brings a fresh perspective while choosing to respect and maintain the spirit of the restaurant. His focus is not to reinvent, but to strengthen what already exists, supporting the team in continuing to deliver experiences that feel effortless, personal, and enduring.

With extensive corporate experience supporting international organizations and leadership teams, Hanh will help Mike oversee all operations of the restaurant.
She brings a disciplined, yet people centered approach creating a working environment where roles are clear, contributions are valued, and the team can perform with confidence. This will build clarity, structure, and long-term sustainability with our Skewer’s team that will ensure the restaurant’s transition into its next chapter is successful.

With decades of experience Chef Hà remains at the heart of its kitchen. She has been leading Skewers in this role since its inception and earliest day. She carries forward the recipes, standards, and discipline that have shaped the restaurant’s identity.
Her cooking is rooted in consistency and care, ensuring that each dish, from familiar favorites to daily preparations, reflects the same level of attention that guests have come to expect over the years. For Chef Hà, the goal has always been simple, to cook in a way that keeps people coming back, not just for the food, but for the warm and comforting feeling her dishes bring.

Founded in 2000 by Tristan Ngo and Lien Tran, Skewers has become a lasting part of Ho Chi Minh City's dining scene. Together, they created a restaurant shaped by Mediterranean inspired cooking, warm hospitality and a genuine sense of welcome. Tristan's culinary experience helped define the diverse menu and many of the signature dishes still loved today, while Lien played an essential role in building the personal, welcoming atmosphere that made Skewers a home away from home for many guests. Their shared vision and dedication established Skewers as a trusted favorite among locals, international residents and visitors to Saigon. More than two decades later, their influence continues through the dishes, memories and spirit that remain at the heart of the restaurant.
